Leaf it alone.
Today, while conducting an interview in my rackety run down conference room in my rackety rundown office, a lone solitary leaf flittered down from the ceiling.
It landed rather primly on top of my head, in the midst of the carpet fuzz i call hair. It did so with such ninja-like stealth qualities that i felt nary a thing. (nary, lol, i've always wanted to use that in a sentence). The said leaf had floated on the whims of warm air coming from me in my rant about the importance of being earnest and nestled in the crop of reservist-bashed hair.
why couldn't it leaf me alone
